Humpty Dumpty

In a faraway land, there lived an egg called Humpty Dumpty. Humpty Dumpty liked to jump and skip. The people were worried that Humpty Dumpty might fall and break himself. They advised him to be careful. Humpty Dumpty did not care and continued to jump and skip as much as he liked.

One day, Humpty Dumpty climbed up and sat on a high brick wall. He sang and rocked his body to and fro. Suddenly, he lost his balance and fell to the ground.

The king’s men and their horses were nearby. They saw Humpty Dumpty fall. They quickly rushed to help. But they were too late. Humpty Dumpty’s shell was broken. His egg white and yolk were splattered all over the place. There was nothing that they could do to help Humpty Dumpty anymore.Moral of the story :

You should listen to advice if it is for your own good.

Last Holiday

My Last Holiday

My end of year holiday at 2019 to 2020 was surprisingly fun. Although I spent most of my holiday at home, I found it very refreshing after an exhausting semester at school. At the beginning of the holiday, I still went to school because of my extracurricular. I practiced and finally performed at 21st of December 2019. After all, I enjoyed my holiday at home. When I didn't have to go anywhere, I relished the day. Starting by waking up anytime I want, taking shower as many time as I want, then doing every relaxing things I desire. But I do have plans for my days. I planned to rearrange my bedroom and clean it. Then I want to finish watching a series that I've been watched for awhile now. And the rest of my list are just enjoy my holiday as fun as it can be. I end up finished those things, so I can say I satisfied with my holiday.

In between the holiday, there is Christmas too! The most wonderful time of the year. I spent my Christmas like the rest of Christmas I spent my entire life, at my grandma's house, with all of my family. I'm very thrilled because all of family could spend the Christmas together this year. Despite all the things and differences we had between us, we could spend our Christmas as a family, and that's pretty amazing. Another Christmas magic we have every year is the presents! I love the satisfaction that is given by the unwrapping part from opening the presents. I got a lot of gifts this year and I really like every single one of it. Beside going to the church, having Christmas lunch, and opening the presents, we also catch up with our stories from the year we about to end. We all had fun at Christmas, I wished Christmas could be more often...

After Christmas, we also celebrated the new year. I spent new year eve at my grandma's again. The view from my grandmother's house is really beautiful and we can see most of the city from there because her home is at the hills. After me and my family went to the church, we had dinner and then we had barbecue at the backyard as we watched a lot of firework from the city. We passed the time quickly with a lot of conversation and some movies. By the time of midnight we all gathered at the backyard to make a toast and give each other new year kisses. Most of us are already sleepy, so after that we went to sleep and woke up at the new year!

So that is my kind of holiday. It maybe not that interesting for a lot of people. But for me it was what I needed and what I love to do. And spending it with my family just made things a lot more better!
